Letter to our Friends and Supporters

Nov. 18, 2022

Hi friends,

As you may know, Virden Pet Network has had a really tough year. We ran out of money so we had to freeze intake of new animals.

But at the same time, the phone keeps ringing and emails keep arriving telling us of another injured stray, another orphaned litter of kittens, etc.

It's heart-breaking to have to say "There's nothing we can do at the moment." So we're fundraising like crazy.

CanadaHelps.org (they process donations for non-profits like us) has just announced this incentive to givers:

"Every donation made between November 15th to November 29th is an automatic entry to WIN a $5,000 CanadaHelps charity gift card that can be used to further support the charities and causes you care about."

Wouldn't you feel like Santa Claus, doling out $5,000 to your favorite charities?

You don't have to wait for Giving Tuesday, you can visit their website right now to "amplify your impact" by clicking here: www.canadahelps.org

With your support, we can soon return to our mission of helping homeless pets.

Thank you!

PS: We're still accepting new or like new items for our upcoming Christmas fundraising auction, if you'd like to help that way! Email or call/text 204 748-6677.
